Meet The Team
Daisy Whelan Sullivant
Daisy is textile designer, stylist and interior decorative painter. The oldest of the three Whelan sisters. She studied Fabric Design in the Lamar Dodd School of Art at UGA. She started her career designing textiles for Kelly Wearstler’s apparel collections in Los Angeles, CA. In 2012 she launched Daisy G, a hand painted scarf and accessory line in Savannah, GA. In September of 2013 Daisy married Hank Sullivant and moved to Athens, Ga. While in Athens she has kept a hand in design consulting for apparel companies, Fits Riding and Field Trip Brand, designing custom home textiles, and creating patterns for The Whelan Girls gift wrap. She currently works as stylist, interior decorative painter, and designs patterns and runs product development for Beach House Studio. She and Hank live in Watkinsville, Ga with their three sons Henry, Monte and Louis.
Katelyn Whelan
Katelyn is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, where she earned a dual degree in Marketing & Visual Communication Design. Settling in her hometown of Savannah, GA, she has spent the past 7 years building a career working with female owned small businesses. From events to retail, she has learned the art of translating ideas into action. Specializing in creative strategy, she seeks to bring the passion of her clients to life through the power of social media & e-commerce.
When she is not working, you can find her at the beach. She loves spending time with her family and can whip up a killer batch of chocolate chip cookies.
Mimi Whelan
Mimi is an interior designer and illustrator. She studied interior design at the Larmar Dodd School of Art at UGA.
After school, she began her career in luxury residential design. She spent 5 year in New York working with Michelle Gerson Interiors. In 2022 she moved to Charleston, SC and is currently working for Amanda Lindroth. Her passion for interior design lies in the opportunity to combine beauty and function
to create a curated environment for her clients to live, grow and create memories with their family.
While Mimi has a well trained eye for interior design, she has the hand of an artist. Through her illustration line “Meemz”, Mimi combines her love of art, fashion and the coast. Her happy place is in her home studio on Sullivans Island with a brush in hand painting the sandy shells she scooped on a morning beach walk.
